EVENT SUMMARY

The Solea User Group Meeting is the premier annual event designed specifically for Solea doctors and dental office staff.  You will feel a great sense of community while you dive deep into the topics that are most important to you.

  • Expand your knowledge, clinical insight and effectiveness with Solea

  • Improve what you are doing with Solea, and increase the breadth of procedures you perform

  • Learn from, and share ideas with, other Solea users one-on-one, in small groups and general sessions

EDUCATION PROGRAM SUMMARY

We are committed to you getting the most out of your Solea, and we provide the resources to enable your success.

There will be (7) categories of courses offered by an elite group of professionals; you may follow one path throughout the meeting, or you may register for sessions across categories.  If the course is eligible for CE, and if you meet the attendance requirements, certificates will be awarded following the meeting.

Attendance Requirements

Attendees must be checked into class on time and must sign their name to verify their presence.  All attendees must remain in the class until the designated course end time.  Badges must be scanned both at the start and end of the course for attendees to qualify for CE credits.  Certificates will be emailed to the address you used when registering for the conference within 2 weeks of the course completion.

EDUCATION CATEGORIES

IMPORTANT:  Courses for beginners and advanced Solea users are offered within each track. Please refer to the recommended “audience” listed in the course description to understand what level of Solea expertise is recommended to get the most out of each course.

 

Restorative

This track covers direct and indirect restorative procedures with Solea and discusses how Solea can assist with implant restorations and cosmetic dentistry. 

 

Soft Tissue and Oral Surgery

This track gives you an opportunity to take the next steps toward adding new procedures and techniques using Solea. Courses in this track will help you gain more knowledge and skills at both a basic and advanced level covering procedures such as frenectomy, gingivectomy, gingival contouring, depigmentation, treatment of mucoceles and fibroma removal with Solea.

 

Periodontology

This track takes a multi-angle approach to periodontal procedures that Solea enables general practitioners to perform. Courses will help you understand the versatility of Solea.  Courses offered include a certification on using the Ultraguide handpiece as well as how Solea can be utilized for the treatment of peri-implantitis.

 

Sleep

This track will introduce you to the new Solea application treating sleep-related breathing disorders. You will understand the general principles of airway health and sleep disorders. You can also receive a certification that allows you to treat sleep-related breathing disorders in your practice with Solea.

 

Practice Administration and Management

This track offers courses that can benefit every member of the dental team, including the front office, management, and the full clinical team – hygienists, dental assistants, associates, and doctors. Courses will cover Solea-enabled patient flow management, proper laser maintenance, efficient Solea coding, scheduling, accounting, and marketing.

 

Pediatric

This track dives into various Solea applications for pediatric dentistry, including Dr. Lawrence Kotlow’s renowned course on tongue and lip ties.  You will learn patient management techniques, how to approach pulpotomies with Solea, and the impact of bringing the next generation of patients into your practice at a young age.

 

Special Interest

This track will cover various topics from clinical to business as well as Solea applications with other products like CAD/CAM. Topics include laser research, practice valuation, the study of cariology, marketing yourself as a Solea dentist, and how to manage and improve your online reputation.
